Easter BBQ Night - New Shop!

We are excited to announce
we have moved to new premises!  As
DiveXsite has grown over the years we have expanded into new premises -
directly across the road from the old ones. 
We want to invite everyone along to see the new shop on Thursday 8th
April for our Easter BBQ Night!
There will also be a Global Underwater Explorer presentation by Peter from GUE,
and a free Easter Egg for the first 40 who attend!  We hope to see you there!

DiveXsite
uses "Fingal Charters", truly a fun and fantastic operation with
which we have been associated with for over 8 years. The dive boat is an 8 mtr
cat and has full covers with plenty of room to move.  Your day will consist of 2 boat dives, a
morning tea break of tea, coffee, Milo, or soup with biscuits and cake, before
you head back in for your second dive. The facilities at Fingal are awesome in
that you can wash your dive gear upon return, have a warm shower and change, we
supply you with a lite BBQ lunch and an area to sit and relax before packing up
gear from the day's dives.

Ocean Cat Day Trip

The NEW Ocean Cat is a 40
ft Cat that caters for up to 12 divers with ample seating space for your
comfort. It has a toilet & shower on board, a spacious galley, TV &
Video and a nice deck area for sunning. Ocean Cat heads out to the beautiful Flinders
Reef and Moreton Bay Marine Park and visits sites that are not frequented by
other dive vessels. Morning tea and lunch is provided along with your 2 dives.

Fish Rock Cave Weekend Trip

Getting Close... Limited Spaces Left

Join us for a nice long
weekend of diving at South West Rocks.

Fish Rock Cave is the best
known and most popular dive site of South West Rocks, but the Cave is just the
beginning of the great diving around these parts. The surrounds of Fish Rock
offer some spectacular dives and opportunities to view the abundant marine life
that congregates around the Rock.

The Grey Nurse shark is an
ancient and docile species, but unfortunately is rare and endangered. Fish Rock
is one of the few diving sites in Australia where Grey Nurse sharks can be
found all year round.

Our trip departs the dive
shop at 6.00pm on Friday night to Fish Rock and includes:
return transport, 3 nights' accommodation at Costa Rica Resort Motel, 6 dives,
(a night dive is optional), tanks and weights.

a fantastic opportunity to keep in touch with other divers, meet some of our
new divers and enjoy a light BBQ while finding out the latest news and events
at DiveXsite. It is also a great time to bring along friends and our non-diving
partners to get involved and meet each other, and the upcoming few are no
exception!  Catch up with the latest news,
sign up for dive trips and just hang out with our diver and non-diver friends
alike!

Big Cat Liveaboard - Advanced Trip

Date:  5th - 7th June                                                            Cost: Just $415

          This trip is for the advanced diver and or tech diver.

The
weekend will be run so as a variety of dive sites and the more challenging
sites will be visited, J

Big
Cat Reality is a 25 metre live-aboard dive charter vessel which operates in the
Moreton Bay and surrounding areas. The vessel has facilities to accommodate up
to 24 divers and 9 crew, featuring:
28 air-conditioned berths, 2 large dining areas, fully licensed bar with lounge
area, TV, video, CD Stereo, a huge covered upper deck area (The Party Deck), 5
Showers and 4 toilets, a big compressor for fast
fills and a 4.3m high speed rescue vessel.

You
will get in 7-9 dives during the weekend and that includes a night dive if
preferred. Big Cat is the perfect boat for completing an Advanced course or
Specialty courses during the weekend and endeavors to get to most of the great
spots that Brisbane has to offer.

All
divers are required to provide: certification card, dive knife, dive slate, and
a safety sausage.

Included
in your trip is all your dives, air fills, meals, accommodation, linen and dive
supervision; the only thing you have to bring is your personal gear and dive
gear.

"Big
Cat" departs from Newport Waterways Marina, Griffith Rd, Scarborough,
approx. 7.30pm Friday Night. (Parking available). The vessel returns approx.
5:00pm Sunday afternoon.

These trips are solely
designed for Advanced divers and go to spots less frequented by the usual dive
boats.

If you have never been on
"Ocean Cat" it is truly a day out you will enjoy.

New Products Arriving

We
have managed to secure deals with at least 5 new wholesalers who are willing to
supply us with a whole new range of great and exciting products to extend the
ones we currently have.

Cressi,
Shearwater Computers, Aeris Dive Equipment, Airmaster dive hoses, Hollis, and
there are more.

During
the next few weeks all these products will be arriving into the store.

There
will be some huge savings to be had with the new stock arriving and the old
being phased out.

Also
our school gear will be getting updated again so more savings there.
