DiveXsite is owned and operated by Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Instructor Certifier, Mick Jordan. This premier training and diving facility is located in Eagle Farm which is very central to the Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast diving areas.
Established in 2003 DiveXsite has become a reputable industry leader in the provision of diving education and services through quality training. DiveXsite provides Scuba Certifications for the beginner through to Instructor level, with National and International dive travel, diving equipment hire, sales and service while maintaining our very high standards.

DiveXsite offers a full range and wide range of quality products designed to meet the diver's needs. These top quality products are supplied by Halcyon, Dive Rite, Apollo, Scubapro, Seasuits, Beuchat, Oceanic just to name a few.

Our training services start with the open water course; continuing with a wide range of specialty courses which lead into the professional level of Dive Controller Specialist and then Instructor. DiveXsite has a full range of technical diving, first aid, oxygen provider and gas blending courses.

Having obtained an ATO rating for the facility, this now enables DiveXsite to certify school children in scuba diving courses and help add to their end of year final scores. DiveXsite has a volunteer program in which Hospitality and Tourism students can gain real experience and on the job training while completing their courses.
DiveXsite has a snorkel instructor program for school teachers, which gives teachers the ability to train school students in snorkeling and to have safer water abiltites during school activities.

DiveXsite is proud of its association with SSI, the largest school based training agency in the world! SSI's ratings are the only industry ratings that combine training with experience and that are truly earned.

Michael (Mick) Jordan, PADI/SSI/NAUI Scuba Instructor.


Michael "Mick" Jordan is a scuba diving instructor with many years of diving experience. He first started "diving" at Noosa in the late 70's. Since then having dived all over the world in such exotic locations as the Red Sea, Vancouver, USA, Great Barrier Reef, Vanuatu, Fiji, Greek Islands, Cook Islands, Tahiti and Solomon Islands to the not so glamorous Brisbane River.

Originally qualified as a "sparky" (electrician), Mick owned his first business at 24 and went on to own a healthy and thriving Home Renovation business. After selling this business he managed to use his talents to travel the world for 6 yrs, doing odd jobs to help along the way.

It was in Denver, Colorado of all places that a renewed passion for diving was revived. Once back in Australia and with this new zest he was encouraged to continue his diving qualifications. He became a technical diver reaching Trimix qualification and then furthered his knowledge to become an instructor.

Mick’s dive interests includes the study of wreck archaeology, along with deep and technical diving and wreck penetration - but his real interest lies in introducing new divers to the excitement of diving for the first time. “I love seeing the expressions on divers faces when they complete their first dives, the excitement and the amazement of what they have just completed is truly gratifying.”

Since the launch of DiveXsite, it has enjoyed a healthy increase in diving participation both from divers and inquiries. This continuing trend has lead to many successful dive trips (local and interstate) along with our overseas trips.

In 2006 DiveXsite went to the Solomon Islands and the Philippines, 2007 it was Vanuatu and Truk Lagoon, 2008 it is again Truk Lagoon for 12 days. 2009 was Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu, 2010 saw us in Vanuatu and Palau. 2011 has trips planned Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
