Boat Dives

As I said before Brisbane has some of the best diving available to divers; tropical water, good visibility and a good variety of dive sites, however a boat is essential to get to these better spots.

We offer boat dives for all levels of experience, from the novice diver looking to continue their fun of diving to the more serious diver and technical diver, exploring the many wrecks we have scattered off our coastline.
Boat diving gives you the opportunity to get out and see sites like "Flinders Reef " which is a true coral reef and has been said to be better than the Great Barrier Reef. Right on Brisbane's doorstep this site boasts more than 175 fish species, along with Turtles and Rays. There are more species and varieties of corals in this one area than any other single reef on the Great Barrier Reef.
Sightings of Grey Nurse Sharks have been seen on the northern edges of Flinders Reef and during the months of May to October, Humpback Whales are a regular sight.

The recent construction of mooring buoys and Marine Park Declaration have meant huge leaps in marine activity and reef protection here.

We do have scheduled boat dives; these are on the website and run Saturday and Sunday and some mid-week.

Due to weather conditions the sites and times may vary so we suggest it best to check, via email or phone, with us for site and time information.

Also to avoid disappointment, make sure you book several days in advance.

Dive Procedures:

1. Queensland Law states that all divers must carry a safety sausage and an audible signaling device. This is for your safety, so whether diving from a boat or shore they are required.

2. If you require Dive Gear, please make sure you let us know. If you are unsure of your wet-suit/BCD size, please come into the shop at least ONE HOUR before the scheduled departure time so you have time to try on the equipment.

3. Departure times are set for a reason, so it’s important to arrive AT LEAST 20 MINUTES prior, to allow enough time to get ready. If for any reason you are running late, you need to call us and let us know.

4. Due to the unpredictably of weather and changing sea conditions scheduled dive sites may change on the day. This will be at the discretion of the skipper.

Booking & Cancellation Policy:
