Dive Supervisors / Dive Master

The tasks of a Dive Supervisor is to co-ordinate and supervise all diving and snorkeling activities. As a supervisor you will be responsible for the safety and comfort of the customers as well as the other staff on board. Therefore you have to observe diligently and think ahead. Conditions that you have to consider will be; the experience level of divers,weather conditions and their possible effects on divers.

A Dive Master will take on more responsibility – he/she will for example also assist in the training, help divers with their equipment, with planning their dives and so on.

Required:

1. A valid/current Senior first aid certification

2. A valid/current (12 months) certification in Oxygen Resuscitation

3. A valid motor vehicle driver license, held for a minimum of three years.

Rescue Divers Wanted

Are you a qualified Rescue Diver? We are looking for Rescue Divers to join our training staff. Have you ever used your certification as a Rescue Diver to your benefit? Or was it just marketed to you as the next step up the ladder? Interested divers must have a current Workplace First Aid and Oxygen Equipment Resuscitation certification. Our Rescue Divers get the opportunity to staff; courses, pleasure/training dives and even weekends on our Liveaboard Trips. E-mail us to arrange an interview/assessment day.

Work Experience Programs

A great opportunity for Divers to join our Work Experience Program - a person that gets training and more importantly gain real experience while using their labour/skills as payment.

Work Experience

The following are the core, non-negotiable requirements to be considered for Work Experience Programs;

Able to be here for not less than 3 months.

Be a certified Diver

Have already logged at least 10 scuba dives.

Be 18 years old.

Be able to support yourself during the period of the program.

Any individual, applying for a Work Experience Program, must also demonstrate - maturity, common sense, the ability to listen and learn, good diving skills and a willingness to ask for directions prior to undertaking any activity they have never done before. Individuals that act first and think later will not survive long in our programs.
