How do I become a SCUBA Diver?

It’s easy: speak to a few SCUBA Diving Stores in your area, check out what they offer in the way of “Learn to Dive Courses”.

These courses can vary in content from Instructor to Instructor or store to store. Remember, Check the cost, make sure the price quoted includes everything that you need to complete the course and that there are no hidden or extra costs. Some stores charge extra for materials, hire equipment, boat trips and will even make you buy your own gear before you start the course. Always ask what is not included and if there is anything else.

Shops that are owned and run by the instructor usually offer a more personalized service - therefore the person you speak too is generally the person who will actually teach you.
